Scenario
A visual exploration to tell the story of the Italian Short Track National Team, in collaboration with Athleta Magazine. An expressive research project to narrate a discipline rooted in a sporting culture defined by speed, balance and resilience.
Challenge
A short film dedicated to the magnetic human vortex of the athletes, where the repetition of movement induces a metaphysical mental state, in which body, mind, blades and ice merge into a single, ultra-fast element.
Idea
Leveraging technology to amplify the human core of the story. Integrating direction, live action, AI content generation, motion and compositing into a single creative flow, experimenting with new, more accessible and high-performing approaches to VFX creation.
AI serving the creative vision
AI entered from the very early stages of visual research, helping us define style, atmospheres and key shots even before filming. A visual compass to align the team’s vision and build a shared language.
Hybrid pipeline: AI, live-action footage and VFX.
The interplay of live footage, generated content and compositing shaped a coherent vision where technology and artistic sensibility intertwine. VFX became the tool that brought these languages together into a single flow.
