Scenario
By 2024, digital technology has overtaken print, with one in four people not reading a single book in the past year. Still, Lamborghini has continued to honour its heritage of craftsmanship through its iconic ‘Lamborghini Magazine’: a tradition that cannot be lost.
Challenge
To celebrate the 30th edition of Lamborghini Magazine, we were asked to rethink the reading experience, elevate the brand’s perception and increase engagement, redefining luxury from a status symbol to a cultural statement.
Idea
We brought readers even closer to print by embracing technology in an exclusive publication, Beyond: the first book in the luxury supercar industry that uses Augmented Reality to enhance the reading experience.
Paper meets AR
Through Al image tracking, illustrations by international artist Prateek Vatash are transformed into interactive 3D holograms. Scanned via QR codes on readers’ smartphones, the iconic car models can be viewed in unprecedented ways, turning the act of reading into a new dimension of engagement.
Beyond traditional media
Printed in just 1,963 hand-numbered copies, Beyond Book is a true collector’s item. Thanks to AR integration, it seamlessly blends physical and digital reading, proving how experiential marketing can elevate brand perception and customer engagement far beyond traditional media.
