Gucci Cosmogonie
Gucci connects the gift-giving moment with the magic of the stars.
Scenario
For the Gift-Giving 2022–23 campaign, Gucci launched the Cosmogonie collection, inspired by astronomy and ancient myths, with a show set in the enchanting Castel del Monte. Its octagonal design reinforces the idea of a link between earth and sky, like a true gateway to the stars.
Challenge
Developing an interactive digital experience to enhance in-store engagement, extend dwell time and deliver a memorable moment of personal connection.
Idea
We designed a personalized sky map experience: users input their birth details to unveil the mesmerizing stars and constellations that graced the sky at the exact time and place they were born.
A glimpse at the stars
Inside Gucci boutiques, an immersive installation recreates a celestial vault within an octagonal, multi-screen environment. As users interact with the screen, constellations form, stars glow with varying intensity and a parallax sky shifts with their movements. Sound design responds to every touch, creating a deep sensory connection between the user and the sky that once lit up their first moment on Earth.
A journey within
This interactive journey transforms each visit into a moment of introspection. By visualizing the user’s own astral chart, Gucci offers a unique experience that connects emotion, identity and universe. A digital ritual of wonder that blends technology, myth and luxury in one timeless gesture.
