AI and augmented reality to experience wine beyond the glass

Scenario

Seven centuries of Frescobaldi’s history called for a new language, a new way to express a precious heritage and bring people closer to the wine, through a simple, memorable experience.

Challenge

The challenge was to make a complex story of territory, heritage and production accessible and immediate, turning the label into a touchpoint able to engage, inform and inspire.

Idea

Each bottle becomes an experience. By scanning the QR code, AI recognizes the label and unlocks an immersive digital journey, with content dedicated to the wine, the estate, and the production process.

Immersive packaging

The project combines QR Codes, label recognition, AI and AR to turn every bottle into a storytelling interface. A scalable system that transforms packaging into direct access to the Frescobaldi world.

A strategic asset

Launched in 2019 and evolved from VR to mobile, the project has digitized over 50 labels. It serves as an experiential, educational, and commercial tool, a key brand asset across events, trade shows, retail, and training.
